What I Help With
Whether you’re battling the constant loop of intrusive thoughts, feeling stuck in anxiety or panic, overwhelmed by ADHD, or carrying the weight of depression and past trauma, therapy can help you find relief and reconnect with your sense of self. I specialize in working with teens and adults navigating OCD, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, depression, and social anxiety, creating a safe, supportive space where healing is possible.
My Approach to Therapy
I utilize a range of evidence-based interventions designed to support healing, enhance insight, and encourage lasting growth across mind and body.
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) ERP is a highly effective approach for treating OCD and anxiety-related disorders. It helps individuals gradually face fears and reduce compulsive behaviors, building confidence and tolerance for uncertainty over time.
Neurofeedback infra-Low Frequency (ILF): Neurofeedback is a brain-based training method that supports emotional regulation, focus, and trauma recovery. By helping the brain learn new patterns of stability and flexibility, it can improve mood, sleep, attention, and resilience.
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT): TF-CBT combines education, coping skills, and trauma processing to help individuals safely integrate difficult experiences and reduce the emotional impact of past trauma.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT encourages mindfulness and acceptance while helping clients take meaningful action in alignment with their personal values. It’s especially effective for managing anxiety, OCD, depression, and chronic pain.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: CBT focuses on understanding how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another. It helps identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop healthier, more balanced perspectives.
Narrative Therapy: Narrative Therapy empowers clients to reframe their stories, separating who they are from the problems they face. This approach promotes self-compassion and a sense of agency in shaping one’s life.
Motivational Interviewing (MI): MI is a collaborative, person-centered approach that helps individuals explore ambivalence, strengthen motivation, and create lasting change at their own pace.
Somatic-Based Interventions: Somatic work integrates body awareness into the therapeutic process, helping clients recognize how emotions are held physically. It supports grounding, self-awareness, and the release of stored tension and stress.
Each session is tailored to meet you where you are, combining insight, compassion, and practical strategies to support meaningful, lasting change in both mind and body.
My Background
With over 19 years of experience in social services and behavioral health, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting and empowering individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments. I work with individuals ages 12+ and up who are navigating:
Parenting Support
In addition to individual therapy, I’m certified in the Triple P Parenting Program, which allows me to support caregivers of children of all ages. Helping parents build confidence and connection with their kids is something I’m deeply passionate about.
A Little About Me
My personal experiences with childhood and adolescent trauma give me a unique understanding of how trauma impacts emotional regulation, attachment, and overall well-being. These insights guide the values and direction of my practice, and reinforce my deep belief that healing is absolutely possible, especially when people feel safe, seen, and supported.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a proud mom of three; two adult daughters and a teenage son. I find joy in everyday moments: biking around the neighborhood, taking our dogs on long walks, cozy movie nights, and spending time with family.
